July 6-13, 2013 - Leader: Sally Diaz
The tiny country of El Salvador (which means “the Savior”) is the most densely populated state on the mainland of the Americas and is highly industrialized, but social inequality and a susceptibility to earthquakes have shaped much of modern El Salvador. There is great need in San Jose el Naranjo and the surrounding communities.
Participants in this trip may install a septic system, spread the Gospel through door-to-door evangelism, teach Vacation Bible School, pass out school supplies, as well as visit outlying Native American villages to share the love of Jesus Christ. Speaking Spanish is a plus for this trip, but not a requirement.
